ADMISSION TO THE FESTIVAL IS FREE  (Carnival charges for their rides [Note: bracelets have separate charges for day and evening])

 

2016 we over 5,000 visitors!  We have a large midway of local organizations and vendors

Friday, October 13


9-11 am                   Commercial Food Vendors (ONLY) Setup
1-3 pm                     General, Non-profit, and Local Vendor Setup

4 pm                          Ribbon Cutting – Welcome by Mayor & Other Leaders
4-9 pm                      Festival Opens: Midway Vendor Booths & Carnival Opens
5-9 pm                      Musicians – Outdoor Stage (Open Mic; 15 minutes per person/group; bring guitars) – Schedule with Chamber of Commerce before event
6 pm                          Pickle Contest Entries due
6-8 pm                      Bingo (inside Trumann Recreational Complex – TRC)
.                                     Antique Tractor drawn Hay Rides (sponsored by Poinsettia Club)
9 pm                          Festival Closes for the night

8 am                           Parade line-up at Trumann High School (No fee to participate, contact Dennis Pankey, 870/974-2090)
9 am                           Duck Festival Parade (begins at high school [West Main St] – ends at Trumann Recreation Complex [Pecan Grove Rd])
9 am                           Festival Opens 2nd Day: Midway Vendor Booths & Carnival Opens
.                                    Push Pull Challenge (Sanctioned Weight Lifting Competition) – weigh in ( inside TRC) – Register on site, $60 per division
9 – End                      Wild Duck Festival Softball Tournament: contact Scott Shankle, 870/227-2244
9 am                           Antique Auto Show & Contest (sponsored by Central Ford) – To enter call David Bridges at 870/483-6451
10 am                        Strut Your Mutt Contest – Outdoor Stage (sponsored by Trumann Animal Pet Savers) Bring you dog!
