37th Annual Wild Duck Festival – October 11 & 12, 2019
Trumann Chamber of Commerce
Location: 16179 Pecan Grove Road



ADMISSION TO THE FESTIVAL IS FREE  (Ride Vendors charge for their rides -Pony Rides, Bounce Houses, Petting Zoo, etc.)
We have a large midway of local organizations, food trucks, and vendors

Thursday, October 10 (not open to the public)

9 am-12 pm; 1 – 3 pm  Commercial Food Vendors (ONLY) Setup



Friday, October 11

9 am-3 pm            General, Non-profit, and Local Vendor Setup (not open to the public during this time)


4 pm                         Ribbon Cutting – Welcome by Mayor & Other Leaders
4-9 pm                     Festival Opens: Midway Vendor Booths & Rides Opens

5-6 pm                    Shirley Long – Outdoor Stage

6 pm                        Pickle Contest Entries due     Anything pickled is eligible (pickled okra, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, etc.)

6-8 pm                     RVH Christian Band – Outdoor Stage

6-8 pm                      Bingo (inside Trumann Recreational Complex – TRC) 
6-9 pm                        Antique Tractor drawn Hay Rides (sponsored by Poinsettia Club)
9 pm                          Festival Closes for the night

Saturday, October 12

9 am                           Parade line-up at Trumann Plaza (No fee to participate, contact Dennis Pankey, 870/227-1590)  
10 am                      Duck Festival Parade (begins at Trumann Plaza [South Hwy 463] – ends at Trumann Recreation Complex)  


9 am                           Festival Opens 2nd Day: Midway Vendor Booths & Pony Rides. Bounce Houses, Rides

9 am                           Pony Rides opens  
10 – End                      Wild Duck Festival Sr. Softball Tournament: contact Gaylon Muse at 870/284-0481, or Laymon Moye 870/284-7017.
11 am                         Fair Haven Farms Petting Zoo opens
11 am                         Entries for Homemade Pies, Cakes, and Cookies due
11 am                         Antique Tractor drawn Hay rides (sponsored by Poinsettia Club)                
12 Noon                    Pickle Eating Contest – Outdoor Stage
.                                    Announce Pickle Contest Winner
1-3 pm                       Horseshoe Tournament (register on-site at Pavilion by horseshoe pits)  

1-2 pm       Duck Calling Contest (Sponsored by St. Francis Lake Assn) – Outdoor Stage ($10 registration fee, contact Terry Rollins Jr at 870/919-0986 or sign-up at their booth in the midway by 1 PM)

2 pm                            Announce Pie, Cake, Cookie Contest Winners

4-6 pm                      Full Blown Insanity Band – Outdoor Stage 

6-9 pm                      Southern Express Band – Outdoor Stage 

6-8 pm                        Bingo – (inside Trumann Recreational Complex)
9 pm                             Announce winner of $1,000 giveaway
9 pm                             Festival Closes
